An Opening Note
Keepsake Stories began with a small noticing: how objects, when carried through our days, seem to hold the weight of memory. A stone picked up on a shoreline, a smooth button from a coat long gone, a feather discovered in the grass — each carries more than its shape. They carry a moment, a place, a feeling.
Kerry’s Keepsakes grew from this truth. What you’ll find here are fragments of memory made tangible, gathered into gifts for the people and pets who share our lives. Each keepsake is paired with a short story — not an explanation so much as a reflection, a way of honoring what the object has come to mean.
This first post is a quiet beginning, like opening a fresh journal and letting the ink touch paper. The stories that follow will be varied: some joyful, some tender, some threaded with grief or gratitude. All will be reminders that the smallest things often hold the most.
Thank you for stepping into this space at its beginning. Whether you come here often or only once, may you find something that lingers with you — a reminder that memory, when held with care, can become its own kind of gift.
