About
I live and work here in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, surrounded by small beaches, quiet woods, and the kind of light that makes you want to slow down and look closer. That sense of observation has always been part of who I am. It’s what makes me a thoughtful pet sitter and also the kind of artist who notices the small, beautiful details that other people might walk past.
I’ve spent the past several years caring for animals full time while building a creative studio that feels like home. My art doesn’t fit into one category, and I prefer it that way. Some days I’m painting with acrylics or working digitally; other days I’m pouring resin, sanding wood, or experimenting with something I’ve never tried before. I like following inspiration wherever it shows up.
Kerry’s Keepsakes grew from the joy of noticing, gathering, and creating. I often pick up small treasures during my walks between pet-sitting visits: a feather, a smooth stone, a weathered shell. Sometimes they end up in a piece of art, sometimes they simply remind me to pause and pay attention. Each keepsake I make carries a bit of that same spirit of a moment, a story, a connection.
Whether you’ve come here for pet care, to look at my artwork, or just to explore something made with heart, I’m glad you found your way here. Everything you see on this site comes from that same place of care for animals, for people, and for the small things that hold meaning in our days.
