Pet Sitting in North Kingstown

For the past seven years, I’ve been providing trusted, professional care for pets of all kinds, dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, turtles, fish, and even a few anxious humans who just want to know their companion is safe and comfortable.
This work is my calling. It’s full-time, rooted in kindness and consistency, and built on real trust between people and their animals. I’m certified in Pet CPR and First Aid, and I’m also a trained Animal Reiki practitioner. My calm, gentle approach helps nervous pets feel at ease, and I specialize in seniors and animals who need a little extra patience.
Clients often tell me they relax once they know I’m there because I treat their animals like family. And I do.
I had Kerry do Reiki on my cat after he suffered a urinary block and was recuperating at home.

The appointment went very well with my cat purring through much of it, and I could tell later that
day that some healing was done because my Francisco was uncharacteristically napping for the rest
of the day and I know if Reiki is successful, it makes you quite tired. I plan to book more
Reiki appointments with Kerry.

Experience and Specialties
Over the years, I’ve cared for pets with all kinds of needs and personalities, including:
- Senior cats and dogs with mobility issues
- Deaf dogs
- Dogs who wear diapers
- Pets who need medications (oral, topical, injections, insulin)
- Cats who receive saline treatments
- Animals recovering from surgery
- Pets who deal with anxiety, reactivity, or stress-related behavior
I’m not a trainer or a vet, but I pay close attention to small details—changes in behavior, appetite, or mood that might signal something’s off. I keep you informed so small issues don’t turn into big ones.
How I Work
Before we book anything, I always offer a meet and greet so we can talk, your pet can say hello, and we can make sure everyone feels comfortable. We’ll go over routines, favorite toys, quirks, and care needs.
For pets who struggle with separation anxiety, I can help set up a small camera to check on them while you’re away. It’s not about watching, it’s about keeping an eye on well-being and comfort.
During a typical 30-minute visit, I focus completely on your pet:
- Playtime or quiet companionship, whatever suits their energy
- Feeding, medications, and clean-up
- Calming presence and consistent routine
- Updates with photos and notes so you feel connected and reassured
Care Standards and Guidelines
Solo Cats
Most cats do great with one visit a day for up to five days. Beyond that, I recommend adding extra visits or occasional overnights. Even the most independent cats benefit from regular company and consistency.
Crated Dogs
If your dog is crated and you’re booking two visits per day, I can accommodate that for short trips of up to two days. For anything longer, I recommend a third visit or overnight care so your dog gets enough movement, care, and comfort.
Indoor/Outdoor Cats
I’m happy to care for cats who go outdoors, as long as we’re on the same page about expectations. If your cat has a GPS tracker or you’re comfortable knowing they may not always come inside on schedule, I’ll handle feeding, water, and safety checks responsibly.
These guidelines come from years of experience and a genuine commitment to animal well-being.
Why Clients Trust Me
Clients describe me as calm, reliable, and quietly attentive. They know I’ll show up, follow through, and notice the small things that matter. Many have been with me for years because they know their pets are not just looked after, they’re cared for with heart.
Let’s Meet
Whether your pet needs a long walk, gentle company, or just someone steady and kind while you’re away, I’d love to help.
